The seawall at Ocean Beach in San Francisco is one of my favorite places to shoot. It’s a timestamp on every photo. The graffiti is constantly changing, like a metaphor for the city itself. And sometimes, as the sand shifts you can find interesting compositions as the real world pokes its head above the wall. Man, it’s always a shame when we have to climb that stairwell back to the real world.
